Tending to your Roots for Peace, Light + Abundance
Rather than filling your cup, try not Draining it.
I wanted to pass on to you an Easter wish of abundance in whatever way is needed for you right now.
However you celebrate Easter, even if you are not religious, Easter can represent a celebration of spring, renewal, and community and if you have any time off of to enjoy this break don’t drain yourself in any way. Use the time to tend to your roots.
It can be a time for enjoying traditions like egg hunts, decorating eggs, making and sharing soul food meals. Easter can also be a time for family, for connection and enjoying the longer days of spring— A taste of life’s sweetness!
A seasonal refresh and a time that you can water your roots.
Spring Rituals for Easter weekend…
Be inspired by the season of renewal and change up your movement, your mindset, your space or anything that makes you want to press the restart button. Because we can, at anytime 💛
Here are some nourishing self care rituals I’ll be practicing this weekend, along with a New Life deep wish list of things I’d love / hope to have, experience and give in my lifetime.
- Practice — Dry body brushing, Gua sha and self massage to support lymphatic and circulatory system for healing stress and toxic load …and I can’t wait to share more primal practices like these in the summer Sanctuary Session, these will be inspired and held by Skinbodysoul, Who will be joining to guide us through a facial therapy and facial yoga techniques practice. I’d love for you to join us! Currently over in my offerings now.
- Practice —a Yoga flow body tap and twist, repair and rehabilitation practice (techniques I’ll be Sharing in my classes next week). Your welcome to book a place and I’ll still be teaching for Monday if you’d like some space to breathe and add something soulful to your day.
- Practice — Mindful presence in cooking and food preparation for an Easter family meal. I’m making a lemon cheesecake and I am even going to bless the drinking water with positive affirmations, abundance and health. I don’t care if it sounds crazy 😂 connecting to nature and what we put inside of our bodies is sacred and healing, Honor these root systems and water them with words and blessings— Practice The power of affirmation!
- Practice—soften and regulate with relaxation, I plan to walk in nature, finish knitting a jumper I’m making for myself and do some Easter egg crafts with my boys.
- Practice— A clearing in the garden, if you have an area or outside space to enjoy clean it up, plant something and watch it grow. I love gardening and have recently moved house, so the garden is in need of a deep tending to. We will be doing a lot of weeding and starting a clear up. I’ve got some strawberry plants to pot so will be sinking my hands in the dirt and looking forward to watching the berries ripen!
- Practice —A simple life is beautiful and giving gratitude for all things…Connect to Prayer.
Finally….
- Wish— Call in for financial freedom, break the struggle of lack and give back to ourselves so we can give more to others.
- Wish —I’d love to offer a Red light heat lamp therapy practice, new ideas for a new class and this would be a dream infusion! a new piece of equipment to infuse into your body, into classes and offerings for deeply healing light therapy.
- Wish— for our community to thrive, for change from survival to vitality, for people to feel freedom and a deeper peace. For people to connect.
- Wish — For reform! For us to experience an era of transformation, interconnectedness, and awakening, for loss, challenges and struggle to be addressed with clarity, compassion, and renewed purpose.
- Wish— For profound shift in the consciousness of humanity, for deep love in all of our roots…for our Roots to thrive, wherever we are planted! To bring more soul and meaning into our lives, to notice the small things, the beauty in the earth and people around us and not take anything for granted…Somehow darkness can wake up these parts of us that have perhaps been asleep. I wrote a story over in my read on my Yoga Roots on how finding a light through the practice of yoga held me in darkness, in times of depletion and connected me to new ways of emerging—allowing my roots to re-grow in a different direction and hold on to the beauty that is right here for us.
I hope it inspires you to know you can grow again!
Have a blessed Easter
With love and meaning
Tina
