Knit Night – Sundays
6–8pm
At Short & Strong Café in Charlestown

Join me for a self sanctuary Knit club—
Organic Knit Night sessions for an evening of creativity, connection, and calm at the lovely Short & Strong Café in Charlestown.

These relaxed, free-flow sessions are perfect whether you’re new to knitting or looking to expand your skills and ideas.
Pick up techniques and tips, start a new project, or bring along something you’re already working on and enjoy knitting in good company, with beautiful music, soul food treats and a welcoming atmosphere.
Our focus is organic creativity, exploring and making that feels organic to you.

You’ll learn the basics of knitting and garment creation along the way, explore a beautiful range of organic yarns from the Yarn bar (with a range of different fibres and colours) and be supported to work at your own pace—no pressure, just joy and creativity.

This can be a journey into making your own sustainable clothing and more, to experience Knitting as something more than making body wear— It’s a way to reconnect with yourself, create sustainably for your home and family, and discover the joy of making with your own hands. Whether you’re dreaming of a cosy jumper, a beautiful shawl, textured homewares, wall hangings or heirloom pieces to treasure, you’ll be encouraged to follow what feels most inspiring to you.

During each session you’ll have access to a beautiful Yarn Bar, where you can explore and work with a selection of gorgeous organic and sustainable yarns and fibres. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials and projects if you are working in something.

Come as you are, slow down, create something meaningful, and enjoy the simple rhythm of making together.
