Vinyasa is the connection of the body and the breath and the flow of movements in our practice. What I love about Vinyasa yoga is that it’s so creative, it’s my favourite style. I love teaching it and practicing it and coming up with unique sequences that invigorate the body. It teaches your body how to flow freely, how to balance and you get so much core strength. As you breathe, your inhale and exhale unite with your movements and your whole body starts to flow. Vinyasa means union with your breath and your movement. And that’s exactly what you do…as you breathe you move through each posture, it feels amazing.
Learning Vinyasa can be challenging at first and I often have people say “oh I’m just a beginner, I don’t think I can do the postures”!
